Dr Drasko Draskovic has an extensive background in science, technology, innovation management and consulting, working with multiple and diverse stakeholders such as governments, the private sector, international and UN organizations, civil society and non-governmental organizations, and academia. He specializes in catalyzing and supporting innovation startup ecosystems for economic and employment growth. He works on development of internal innovation and application of open innovation in private and public sector. In the past he managed several international collaborative research projects at CERN and in academia.
After completing his PhD in London, Drasko was awarded a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship for outstanding young postdoctoral researchers by the European Union. Drasko taught undergraduate and graduate courses in wireless communications at universities in London and Madrid. He published his research in leading peer-reviewed journal publications and presented at major international conferences and technology forums. He provided technical and product advice to innovative tech startups in Switzerland, Germany, Spain and the UK.
Drasko is passionate about technology as a creative force shaping global community and improving the state of the world. He was selected as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum.
